For three weeks in June 2024, six BV high school students helped to launch BV Cool Trees by taking part in an internship with the guiding question: "How can we help our community understand and engage with BV Cool Trees?"

In the blog posts below, you'll find their reflections on a variety of different experiences: interviewing BV community members, walking through downtown BV with a certified arborist, learning about green careers, and talking with representatives from the City, the U.S. Forest Service, the Green Infrastructure Center, and elsewhere.
