In 2025, our cohort grew from 6 interns to 14, enabling the cohort to accomplish several significant projects. They successfully restored the tree nursery, mapped 16 square blocks of trees in downtown Buena Vista, designed a pamphlet about tree care for BV residents, and cultivated their own knowledge by talking with tree experts.
